Hollywood’s Bad Ethnicities

Biased images of racialized communities, deployed in the movies as benign and harmless fiction, show how Hollywood is implicated in the logic of representation as a practice of domination. This racial logic normalizes violence against racialized men, women, and children and legitimizes cruel methods on how to police their bodies, discipline them, or kill them.
