In a quiet Anatolian village where water flows as part of everyday life, Seyfullah develops a deep attraction to Ismahan, a woman from a nomadic gypsy group that arrives in the village.
Their connection begins with a fleeting glance and gradually deepens through shared spaces, distant looks, and a touch that lingers longer than it should. Yet social boundaries, fear, and a sense of honor keep them apart.
Time passes, the tents are taken down, and paths diverge. Seyfullah remains—unable to take a step forward or to live out his feelings. Years later, by the same water, he confronts a story that was never lived, only deeply felt.
A poetic meditation on longing, silence, and the weight of an unlived life.
