In an anonymous city, a solitary man witnesses a brutal act of cannibalistic violence in the apartment across from his own. The creature does not touch him, but the image stays with him.

Soon, he begins to change. His body weakens, his appearance shifts, and his sense of self slowly breaks apart. The monster he once feared no longer feels distant. The line between witness and monster starts to disappear.

What he saw does not fade — it grows inside him.

When the circle completes itself in the shadows of the city, the question is no longer what the monster is, but how it is created.

Anthropomorphoi is an allegory about human cannibalism in its many forms, and about how violence survives by passing from one person to another.
