The Mally White Show drops viewers into the comically chaotic world of 14-year-old Mally White, a budding comedian whose life is upended when his supportive family relocates from Washington D.C. to the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, to help him pursue his dreams. The move forces Mally to find his comedic material in the sharp contrast between his old East Coast identity and his new, sun-drenched private school life.
Mally’s new L.A. life is a goldmine of characters. His entrepreneurial mother Naomi and charismatic sports talk show host father Marcus provide a supportive home base. Living next door is his quirky Uncle Trey, a former Capitol Hill tech specialist turned Hollywood party promoter, along with Mally’s cousin TJ and 8-year-old brother Jules. The private school provides its own chaos, led by Mally’s hilarious nemesis, the intimidating Coach Dickson.
Through family antics, school shenanigans, and the recurring performance of his creative alter-egos, the show creates a chaotic blend of humor and heart that highlights the joys and absurdities of growing up while chasing your dreams.
