In ‘Daddy?’, time and persona are fluid as we explore a homeless young dancer’s (stripper’s) interior journey towards redemption and self-love. Lacking material security, he is able to leverage his sexualized body to survive, but his spirit is flailing. Following the break up with his boyfriend and an assault on his way to the dingy strip club where he works, events cause him to question who he is, where he’s going and what he has lost. Backstage at the club, drugs heighten his subjective experience and hurtle him into a fever dream of violence and sex, bringing his buried fears vividly to life.  Is he nothing more than a body to exploit?  Is the man he wants to love someone he can trust?  Can he survive in a world full of antagonism toward who he truly is? Will he ever have someone, feel safe and be whole?
