Nimbus: Echoes of Innocence

“To the voices silenced by a world that refused to listen…”

This music video is a haunting tribute to the most innocent souls—children born into a world they never deserved. It exposes the stark reality of lost innocence and the painful truth that, knowingly or not, we create our enemies from those who were once pure and vulnerable.

This project brings stillness to life, weaving together motion graphics with real children’s voices—songs, cries, and whispers—sourced from authentic videos on the internet, including recordings of war-affected children. These are not recreations or synthetic sounds. They are the unfiltered echoes of innocence the world has chosen to ignore, confronting the deafening silence of indifference.

Beyond the sounds, the visuals pay tribute to real children throughout history who have suffered—those lost to war, oppression, and violence. Their stories are woven into this project, serving as a painful reminder of humanity’s failures and the cycles of suffering that repeat across generations.

With every frame, the video challenges us to face an uncomfortable truth: we often choose to be deaf and blind to the suffering we allow.

I am deeply grateful to Cihan Yılmaz, the brilliant artist behind the music. His track, “Nimbus,” is the soul of this piece, carrying the weight of the visuals with haunting beauty. His music doesn’t just accompany the imagery—it elevates it, adding depth and emotion to every moment.
