What It Takes

For Dante, a teenager stuck living with his alcoholic Dad, music is his only source of hope and happiness. Dante has been writing songs and singing as an effort to escape from his sadness and loneliness.

As Dad plans to sell Dante’s guitar for extra cash, Dante is left desperate for a way to hide his guitar. Not sure of what to do, Dante runs with his guitar to his hideout place, an abandoned rooftop.

Aria, an aspiring pianist, is on her way home after being rejected again from an audition. While shouting at herself in anger, she hears Dante’s music coming from above. There at the rooftop, they meet for the first time.

From then the two start sharing concerns. Eventually, they help each other get over these issues and chase their dreams.
