Directed by Jinmeng Li, a 17-year-old Chinese high school student, “Mobius Dream” is a story that follows a high school girl, Ariel, whose monotonous life is interrupted by an encounter with a purple-haired stranger in her dream. Ariel’s curiosity is piqued when she notices that the stranger is also wearing her exact same earring in the shape of mobius, and begins a journey of self-realization.

Recipient of an Honorable Mention for Best Young Filmmaker (Special Jury Prize) last October, the 6-minute film is streaming now at ISA channel, from our sister competition Independent Shorts Awards.
