“Careful in the Future” is an experimental short film based on director/songwriter James O’Brien’s album of the same title. The film is told in song, each contributing to an unsettling story, one that slips in and out of the real, punctuating a journey into dreamlike places and dark corners of the imagination, personal history, and regret.
