A painter sat pondering before his blank canvas when his old master, with whom he had parted on difficult terms, arrived unexpectedly.

The film tells the story of Arnav, an accomplished artist who reunites with his former mentor, Sharma Sir, in his studio after 12 years. As they talk in front of a blank canvas, old tensions arise. Arnav shares how Sharma Sir’s criticism affected him, prompting him to leave and find his own style. Sharma Sir reminds him that his artistic roots came from his teachings.
After an emotional reconciliation, Arnav steps away to fetch water and receives a call from a friend informing him that Sharma Sir passed away the night before, having praised Arnav as his favorite pupil. When he returns, Arnav realizes their conversation was a spiritual farewell.
