“Synthetic” follows Yara, a woman in her late 20s struggling with emotional numbness. She discovers a series of mysterious pills, each designed to induce a specific emotion; Bravery, Love, Happiness, Empathy, and more.

Desperate to feel something real, Yara takes the “Bravery” pill, which transforms her from timid and withdrawn to bold and confident. With newfound courage, she reconnects with old friends, embarks on a new passionate romance, and begins to feel alive for the first time in years.

As Yara’s dependence on the Bravery pills grows, the emotional highs become unstable, and her relationships begin to unravel setting her on a dark path.
