When a first-time director sets out to make his passion project, a “serious” romantic-thriller short, his cast and crew have very different ideas about how the day should go. Between a nepo-baby DP more interested in TikTok than his own camera, a lighting tech on the verge of a meltdown, and two leads who can’t decide on an accent, the “professional” set unravels take by take. As talking-head confessionals reveal what’s really going on behind the scenes, the production careens toward chaos, and a twist ending that reveals the whole shoot may have been for nothing.
