IndieX Film Fest Announces Dehancer as Official Film Emulation, Color Grading & Prize Partner

IndieX Film Fest is pleased to announce Dehancer as the festival’s Official Film Emulation & Color Grading Partner, as well as an Official Prize Partner.

Widely used by filmmakers, editors, and colorists around the world, Dehancer develops professional film-emulation and color-grading tools that recreate the character, texture, and color response of analog motion-picture film within modern digital workflows. The platform is available across industry-leading applications including DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Affinity Photo, and iOS.

Beginning with the August 2026 edition, the Best Short of the Season (Special Jury Award) winner of every monthly edition of IndieX Film Fest will also receive a complimentary one-year Dehancer Photo & Video Pro subscription as part of the festival’s official prize package.

The subscription includes three seats and full access to Dehancer’s complete suite of professional film-emulation and color-grading tools, helping filmmakers bring authentic cinematic aesthetics to future productions and post-production workflows.

The addition of Dehancer further strengthens IndieX Film Fest’s commitment to supporting independent filmmakers by also providing professional tools and services that continue to benefit their work beyond the festival.

Together with FilmVault, IndieX’s Official DCP & Cinema Delivery Partner, Dehancer contributes to a monthly prize package valued at more than USD $1,000, awarded to each Best Short of the Season winner.
