La Petite Mort

“La petite mort” (which can be translated as “the little death”) refers to an intense state of pleasure following an orgasm, a moment in which the body experiences a sort of temporary death, a loss of self, an abandonment of consciousness, only to rise again, renewed.
In this mystical moment, time disappears, the pupils dilate, allowing us to see beyond reality, and we, as a humankind , are able to immerse ourselves in what truly makes us human.
Life, Love, and Death.
It is only here, we believe, that we can reconnect with who we are and with what could save mankind, which has, like the bodies around the bed, become increasingly indifferent, distant,
soulless, and enslaved by time. Ever less human.
“La petite mort” is, therefore, a gift, a moment where we can discover again our true essence, an ancestral yet future vision, allowing us to experience death through orgasm, the highest expression of life, and then find life after death, crossing its darkness with a smile and the hope of rebirth, no longer afraid.
With this short film, we aim to reimmerse ourselves in this vision, challenge death, and rediscover, in one final memory, what we feel we are losing—ourselves. And the Love we
come from.
And finally, we want to pose a question, a provocation.
What will you do when the darkness comes? Will you run away, like the bodies around the bed, or will you stay there until the end, without fear?
