Two angels, sisters Lila and Sarah, are in the final three days of a two-year pass on earth when tragedy strikes in the life of Sarah’s lover, Aisha, a human.
Knowing the effect her sudden departure would have on Aisha, Sarah expresses a wish to remain on earth.
Lila, fearing that the principle of equivalent exchange would prevent her from returning home by herself, must then navigate her feelings towards life in the human world, while also exploring a relationship with a street magician she meets one night.
