Much has been said about the strong bond between humans and dogs, but when the adverse reality of a country tries to break it, it’s when that bond can be tested.

“Sugar-Bread” is an autobiographical short film that touches on topics such as Venezuelan migration, the passing of time and grief, all seen through the unique tint of a dog’s gaze.
