Old wounds are reopened between a pragmatic assistant news editor and her impulsive criminal ex-girlfriend when the editor’s ex shows up at her office one night, offering the interview of a lifetime with a corrupt senator she’s keeping the trunk of her car. As they fall back into their argumentative ways, the senator’s security detail starts closing in on them.
