My thirty-year career ended in a needless tragedy. Disillusioned, dazed and disabled, I was led to my darkest hour and the deepest recesses of my mind. My Christian faith demands forgiveness and mercy, but my heart wanted justice and revenge. Conflicted by opposing forces, I was robbed of true healing and peace until my mind was renewed and the hardness left my heart. In an industry that objectifies and demoralizes woman, my desire is for my voice and others not to be silenced. I wish to show that no matter what life brings, joy cannot be stolen unless you let it. One must have the faith to believe that everything is gonna be okay.
