Mark is an aspiring artist, a lover, a dreamer. But a soldier? Hardly. When Mark is drafted into National Service during the Vietnam War, he has to decide his future. And time is running out to come up with a plan. The film is set in Perth in 1966 as the war in Vietnam heats up and Australia pledges firm support. It features draftee, Mark, his girlfriend Lisa and brother James, who is a military police officer.
