A man and a woman, once passionate lovers, accidentally meet after 40 years apart and with pain unravel deeply hurtful misunderstandings in their past. She longs to hear just one mention from him of ‘love’, something that would turn her life from a desert to ‘a road of gold’. He starts to speak but does not finish as he has to rush for his train ( matter of life and death the other end). We are left uncertain if they are ever able to meet again,
