A young, black aspiring composer meets an Italian-American janitor in the park one morning and hesitantly accepts to meet him later that evening. There she is challenged to dive into a foggy and surreal world, where both of them can be all they dreamed of. After he brings their private world too close to reality, she exits furious. Above ground, she accidentally cuts herself on a piece of sheet music, and as the blood pours it drives her back toward him to take what she desires.
