The protagonist is guiding through loneliness while trying to fight for his relationship, which is falling apart. As the night deepens, the couple confront each other and the girl is presented with two bouquettes of roses, but she can only keep one. The boy explains that if she chooses to keep the red one, he’ll change, be better and do whatever it takes to fix their relationship. If she chooses the white one, however, he’ll leave her alone and their story will end. This confrontation plays out as a farewell — a final, bittersweet dance with the past. The jazzy, melancholic score underscores the emotional tension of letting go.
