IndieX Film Fest is thrilled to welcome award-winning filmmaker and actress Alessandra Gaia Williams as a guest speaker on the Q&A panel at this year’s Annual Awards event, taking place Saturday, June 7 at Regal LA Live in Los Angeles.

Williams is the visionary force behind Growing Daisies, an experimental, medium-length film currently screening out of competition in the Cannes Shorts Corner. A poignant and boundary-pushing work, Growing Daisies has been celebrated for its artistic audacity and emotional resonance.
At IndieX Film Fest, the film is nominated for Best Experimental Short, Best Female Director, and Best Actress of 2025, and plays in Block 7: Women in Defiance from 2:25 PM to 3:55 PM in Cinema #13.
Beyond her work as a director, Williams is an accomplished actress with over 45 film and television credits. She starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in Spenser Confidential and appeared alongside Jim Caviezel and Joanne Whalley in Paul, Apostle of Christ. A lifetime member of The Actors Studio, she studied under the mentorship of Al Pacino, refining her craft in both performance and storytelling.

Williams’s influence continues to grow through her production and distribution company, Triple Media Film, which she founded after transitioning into producing and directing. She is currently spearheading the 25th anniversary 4K rerelease of Kevin Smith’s cult classic Dogma—set to return to up to 2,000 theaters this year—and is also producing the sequel, Dogma 2, scheduled to go into production next year. She has partnered with Goodfellas for international distribution.
Her understanding of the film industry, especially in distribution, was shaped by her late mentor and former boss, legendary producer Martin Bregman.
Alessandra Gaia Williams will participate in the IndieX Film Fest 2025 Q&A, where she will discuss her experience across acting, directing, and distribution, and share perspectives on independent filmmaking and career development within the industry. She will be joined by fellow guest speakers AJ Lambert, Anthony Young, Arielle Raycene, Carmine Carpenito, and Kayden Tokarski—each bringing their own unique voice and perspective to the conversation.
