With the daunting pressures of adulthood ever present, Anthony Raskin heads into what he assumes to be just another appointment at Dr. Rooney’s Pediatric Office. Leading up to his appointment, he is faced with the mockery of a receptionist, a child with no conception of personal space, and a nurse whose “kid voice” does not seem to turn off. Dr. Rooney’s arrival puts Anthony at ease, and they move through his checkup with only a few hiccups. When Anthony discovers this visit was his last, he is put into a worrisome daze. Luckily, Dr. Rooney’s gentle guidance offers comfort amidst the uncertainty, leading Anthony to a newfound appreciation for both his childhood and the caring doctor who helped him navigate it.
