The word “protein” from the title means not only the dictionary definition of protein but also all kinds of material and non-material products produced by DNA. What looks like fallen liquid from the ceiling is actually the stretched image of a DNA-shaped human cluster which is at the very front in the video. Because the Image is distorted heavily to the point of losing its original shape, it is perceived as lumps of texture and materiality. As colliding with each other by irregular shake and fluctuation, a lump of flesh successively turns into water, metal, and crystal. The transition of protein into disparate material implies all kinds of imaginable and unimaginable changes surrounding humans.
