Strangers Among Us

Amidst the ongoing war in Ukraine, a New York City transplant from Lithuania is hired to write an article for The New Yorker describing the post-Soviet experience. When she discovers this task is more complex than she realized, she revisits memories of her childhood during Russian occupation and reliving her past by picturing herself as each person, finding her own identity in the process.
