Dyed in the Wool

Dyed in the Wool

Nepotism has landed William Douglass a career in politics, naming him Australia’s youngest senator in over a decade.

In a last ditch effort to swing conservative voters in his favour, William announces his investigation into a particular NDIS loophole on air.

Incapable of charming the liberal-minded journalist, William is left feeling criticised and publicly embarrassed. Feening for comfort and praise, the senator is left to reckon with the dissonance between his public and personal morality.

Directed by Isabella Grace Conti-Morato (Australia)
