#BeingMyTrueAuthenticSelf is a short film with no dialogue. It follows the cycle of a young woman who is DESPERATE to be noticed, seen, recognized and loved on social media. She is stuck in a cycle…a loop… of fantasy pitting itself against reality. Knowing the harm her obsession is causing, her unquenchable need to belong keeps her perpetuating a self-destructing cycle. These two inner desires fight and battle to the bitter end. #BeingMyTrueAuthenticSelf is a short film that ultimately highlights a social and cultural issue that is destroying the lives of so many young women across the globe.
