Smooth Ride is about Brie and Ally, two young women who find themselves in an awkward position. When Brie tries to sneakily shave her legs after a successful date, she doesn’t realise the dates flat mate, Ally, is already in the bathroom. What starts off as a living nightmare, turns into a surreal bonding experience, poking fun at patriarchal ideas of feminine beauty and ultimately celebrating solidarity.
