Affliction Between Us highlights how a traumatic event takes a toll on a young couple’s marriage. It explores the idea that men and women express grief differently and although one may not be as vocal as the other, it does not mean that they are not grieving. One may throw themself into work with the coping mechanism of avoidance, while the other decides to take matters into their own hands to fill the empty void. In this film, it dramatically draws the audience in as the married couple clashes in a turn of events that leaves the audience speechless.
