“Together –6 Feet Apart” was made on a basketball court in Boston’s largest and most troubled public housing development during COVID on a group of days that were the hottest of the summer. it seemed fitting for the subject as these twelve artists shared their stories through movement and poetry in a way that I hope will move audiences past the intellectual issues of the racial divide to emotional places where racism resides for blacks, browns and whites.
