Everything’s Fine

“Everything’s Fine” focuses on Ava, a young black woman, who is sexually assaulted at a party. There are three separate time periods in the film, that signify the temporality of trauma and questions the process of healing. In the first timeline Ava contemplates suicide by driving off a cliff. The second timeline is Ava at the party, where it all happened. In the third timeline Ava tries to tell Anna, her best friend, her traumatic experience.
