Hi, Johnny

“Hi, Johnny” is a short film about redemption and shame. In a dystopian future set in New Orleans, strange creatures roaming the streets have caused the city to declare martial law. Johnny is consumed with guilt from his past and wonders whether life is worth living.

The film was shot in an abandoned duplex in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans. Originally intended to be a musical, the writer and composer used thematic elements to make the story flow like a song.

Directed by Jonathan Nguyen (USA)
