Lauren and Nico are two millennials living in New York City, in the early years of their post-grad life, scoping out the app-based dating scene. They meet up for drinks and, to their welcomed surprise, really hit it off. Hours later, politics are forced into the conversation and their individual values, as well as gut instincts about the sort of people they connect with, are placed into question. Their newly discovered bond is irreversibly damaged, leaving each feeling a deep sense of loneliness and of being consistently misunderstood by sociopolitical stereotypes.
