After 28 years of being in a bad marriage, Lacy Heath is finally ready to begin her new single life. After a very exhausted Lacy misses her plane, a flight attendant diverts Lacy to an unfamiliar airport where she falls asleep waiting for her phone to charge. Upon waking up to an empty airport, Lacy concludes that airports are not void of people or airplanes and realizes that she is dead and alone in purgatory. She feels all is lost until a security guard shows up giving her hope for companionship in the afterlife.
