This year, 60 films from 18 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East have been shortlisted for the IndieX Film Fest 6th Annual Awards Showcase, where they will compete for the festival’s top honors.
The nominees represent the most outstanding projects recognized throughout the festival’s monthly competitions held between January and December 2025.
From 2,195 films submitted in competition, a total of 110 projects initially advanced to the Annual Finalists Long List, representing filmmakers from 29 countries and highlighting a wide range of storytelling voices and cinematic approaches from around the world.
Following the jury’s final deliberations, the selection has now been narrowed to the official Annual Awards nominees, who will take part in the festival’s annual showcase event in Los Angeles.

Screening Event & Awards Show
The shortlisted films will be screened at the IndieX Film Fest Annual Awards Showcase, a full-day celebration of independent filmmaking featuring film screenings, red carpet photo call and press interviews, cocktail reception, filmmaker Q&A panels, and the presentation of the festival’s annual awards.
