‘Savannah’s Curse’ is set in the future where resources are limited, and reserved only for society’s elite and privileged. The destitute, poor, afflicted and those who cannot be understood either by language or adversity, are institutionalised. Some of these people are ‘saved’ by the elite and forced to work in degrading circumstances, their vulnerability taken advantage of. A woman’s spirit returns, her ghost unable to rest until retribution for herself, those she left behind, and her daughter born into this world, is served.
